Xenophytes
With our rapidly evolving science and the continuous exploitation of Earth, where will the future of botany lie? In response to this, I created "Xenophytes" which is a category of plants designed or evolved to thrive in digital spaces. Because these conceptual plants are not bound by physical limitations, they present a new way to explore plant life in virtual environments.
Drawn from botanical illustrations, I developed a futuristic 3D digital plant that transcends traditional forms to combine nature and technology. Presented through a set of motion graphics and poster designs, “Xenophytes” offer a speculative vision of how plant life might evolve in a world where the digital and botanical realms overlap.
